We have yet to catch Shay flipping over on video. I honestly think I have a half an hour of Shay on his tummy. It seems that if the video camera is on, he won’t flip. If there’s no pressure (no camera), he flips! The other day Vanessa watched Shay while Pat and I went on a date (I love dating my husband). She caught the flip on the digital camera.

You don’t have to know me for long in order to realize that I don’t have a green thumb. The idea of watering plants usually bypasses my thoughts. Despite my plain thumb, I love flowers. We planted some bulbs last year in front of our house. Nothing ever came up so we assumed that it just wasn’t in the stars for me to plant anything. This year we noticed something that looked like a weed coming out of the ground where we planted the bulbs last year. Sure enough, our plants finally started to grow! This morning I took Bora out and noticed that we had a few flowers! Who would have thought!!
I love summer break! It has been so wonderful to spend my days at home with Pat and Shay. Don’t get me wrong, I love teaching, but there is nothing better than being here with the two most important men in my life
In a few weeks, we are going to Myrtle Beach with my family. I’m really looking forward to the trip. I think Shay will do fine. We will be back for a week and then we will be going to San Francisco. I am glad that Shay will learn how to travel at a young age. I’m sure that there will be a few challenges along the way, but it will be worth it.
